This solo show, held at the Special Projects Gallery at York University, was an exploration of surface and superficiality Much of the work was borne of my frustration with art school, and the idea that all artistic works had to contain a social or political agenda. With a decidedly un-autobiographical approach, the works showed people (and animals) at their most disingenuous. Media included textile work, pen & ink, collage, and watercolour and works ranged in size from quite large to nearly miniature. The show ran from January 18 - 22, 2010.
